Highland Reel Favourite After Barrier Draw

Highland Reel is now William Hill's 9-2 favourite from 5-1 after stalls were drawn for the William Hill Cox Plate.

Aidan O'Brien's charge has got a prime spot in Stall 4.

"Highland Reel has a very similar profile to last year's winner Adelaide and there's every chance Ballydoyle could be celebrating another success," said William Hill spokesman Jon Ivan-Duke.

"Highland Reel has been well-backed with our operation in Australia and here in the UK and after getting a plum draw we expect that popularity to continue through to Saturday."

Meanwhile, former British stalwart Dandino is the 11-4 favourite with the sponsor for the William Hill Geelong Cup, with Roger Charlton’s Quest For More the 9-2 second-favourite. Quest For More is the best-backed horse with William Hill.
