Hanya Yanagihara Short Priced Favourite For Man Booker Prize

US author, Hanya Yanagihara, is the 3/1 favourite to win this year’s Man Booker Prize ahead of her country-woman Marilynne Robinson according to William Hill. The most likely British winners are Andrew O’Hagan and Sunjeev Sahota, who are both 6/1 to win the prestigious literary award.

“As always, there is an interesting and diverse selection of novels and any one of them would be a worthy winner,” said William Hill spokesman Graham Sharpe. “We have a couple of Americans as favourites but there will no doubt be plenty of movement as we head towards the shortlist and then the winner announcement.”
