Hamilton 10/1 For Famous Five

Lewis Hamilton has signed a new contract at Mercedes that will see him stay at the team until at least 2018.

With reigning champion Hamilton already in pole position to win this year’s F1 Drivers’ title, William Hill offer odds of 10/1 that Hamilton wins the Championship in every year of his new contract.

If Hamilton achieves the feat, he would match the consecutive Championship record of five set by the great Michael Schumacher, who won the title every year between 2000 and 2004 for Ferrari.

“Mercedes are streets ahead of their rivals, much like Ferrari were in the early ‘noughties’ and perhaps the only person who could feasibly challenge him in the foreseeable future is his teammate,” said William Hill spokesman Jon Ivan-Duke.
