Godolphin horse attracting more support than Vancouver

The Godolphin trained Exosphere is attracting more support than Vancouver at for Saturday’s Group 1 Tooheys New Golden Slipper.

Exosphere has firmed from $4.60 to $4.00 at William Hill since Tuesday’s barrier draw, while Vancouver has eased from $2.85 to $3.20.

“Vancouver has been friendless since he drew the wide gate,” said William Hill’s Andrew Brown.

“The money suggests Exosphere will be challenging for favouritism come Saturday, but we expect the big punters will step in when Vancouver gets out to a certain price.”

There has been small nibbles for Furnaces ($16 to $14) and Lake Geneva ($17 to $15), while former Golden Slipper favourite Headwater has attracted a bet of $5,000 at $11.
