Go Set A Watchman For Man Booker Prize?
The hotly anticipated Go Set A Watchman looks set to knock the bestselling The Girl On The Train off the top spot of the hardback charts. Harper Lee’s second novel is 10/1 with William Hill to break the current record of 20 consecutive weeks at the top of the UK hardback fiction charts (held by The Girl On The Train).
With pre-orders being announced as some of the highest ever, William Hill are offering Even money that the book is the biggest selling of the year, while it is 33/1 to win the Man Booker Prize.
“To Kill A Mockingbird is one of the most loved books of all time and countless generations who grew up reading that classic, will no doubt be interested to see what this hugely anticipated follow-up will bring,” said William Hill spokesman Joe Crilly. “Literary records could tumble.”
