Glastonbury: Who Will Headline Following Fleetwood Withdrawal?
Following The Libertines being confirmed as the final headliner for the Leeds and Reading festivals, it leaves Glasto’s lineup looking very bare at the top of the billing. With the Foo Fighters confirmed as headlining the Friday night, William Hill are betting on who will close the weekend with AC/DC the 5/1 favourites ahead of Taylor Swift at 6/1.
Coldplay and Elton John come next in the betting at 8/1 and 9/1.
Fleetwood Mac have drifted considerably in the betting, having been 4/6 at one point earlier this year, and are now 20/1.
“The Eavis’ will have a number of names lined up but with Fleetwood Mac seemingly ruling themselves out of the running, the race is once again, wide open,” said William Hill spokesman Joe Crilly.
