Glastonbury: Are Bastille, Foos And Taylor Lined Up For Secret Sets?

With the doors opening on Wednesday for Glastonbury, William Hill have been looking into who could perform either secret sets or fill a potential hole on the Pyramid Stage come Friday. Taylor Swift is due to play Hyde Park on Saturday, while Blur did so last weekend and they are both 12/1 to perform at some point over the weekend at Glasto while the Foo Fighters, who pulled out of Friday night’s headlining slot are just 10/1 to play some kind of set – most likely a very chilled out acoustic one.

Fleetwood Mac’s dates at the O2 finish on Saturday which may leave them a little time to hit Glastonbury on Sunday and they are 14/1 to perform at any point over the weekend at the UK’s biggest festival while other names in the mix are Bastille at 7/1, Prince at 16/1, Kylie Minogue at 20/1 and One Direction at 50/1.

“There are always so many rumours in the build up to Glastonbury and if anyone is to make a shock appearance, the organisers have done very well,” said William Hill spokesman Joe Crilly. “The odds suggest that Bastille, Foo Fighters (with a sat down Dave Grohl) and Taylor Swift could all make appearances.”
