Words has been the subject of decent money in the Darley Irish Oaks and William Hill have cut her price to 3-1 from 7-2. Aidan O’Brien’s filly is unexposed and has come in for numerous four-figure bets at William Hill.

“Words is attracting the big hitters and if the market vibes are anything to go by, then she could be the real deal,” said William Hill spokesman Jon Ivan-Duke.

Curvy is the current 5-2 favourite but the weight of support for Words could see her challenge for favouritism.

Elsewhere, since Erupt landed the Juddmonte Grand Prix de Paris at Longchamp on Tuesday night, the winner has been backed in to 14-1 from 20-1 for the Prix de l’Arc de Triomphe.

“Erupt has been really popular in the Arc market since winning at Longchamp and the support has forced the price down in a matter of hours,” said William Hill spokesman Jon Ivan-Duke.

The last winner of the Grand Prix de Paris to go on to success in the Arc was Rail Link in 2006. Treve is a solid 9-4 favourite for Europe’s blue-riband race, with Derby winner Golden Horn at 7-2.
