Gamble on Bonito for Triumph?

William Hill can report an intriguing move for Bonito Du Berlais to win the Triumph Hurdle. The French Grade 1 winner trained by Arnaud Chaille-Chaille has come in for a wave of bets across the William Hill shops, with prices specifically requested and now installed in to the betting market at 16-1.

“Bonito Du Berlais has been described as one of the best horses in training in France and if he was a definite runner then it would be likely that he’d only be behind Peace And Co in the betting,” said William Hill spokesman Jon Ivan-Duke. “He could be a massive price at 16-1 if his participation could be assured. The interest we have seen across our shops has the makings of an old-fashioned gamble.”

Meanwhile William Hill have also created a market on Simon Munir and Isaac Souede owning the winner of the Triumph Hurdle. William Hill offer 2-1 that the pair hold a winning hand, with four potential runners, including Grade 2 Doncaster winner and current 11-4 favourite Peace And Co, Grade 1 winner Bristol De Mai (8-1), Newbury victor Top Notch (20-1) and the Gordon Elliott-trained Vercingetorix (25-1).
