FIFA President: Figo’s Entry Into Race Sees Blatter’s Chances Drift

Sepp Blatter is a 1/16 shot with William Hill to win the 2015 FIFA Presidential race although his odds have drifted dramatically in recent weeks as more names have been thrown into the ring. The latest person linked with a run is Luis Figo, who Britain’s biggest bookmaker rate as a 16/1 chance of overthrowing Blatter.

Other candidates include Prince Ali Al Bin Hussain and Michael van Praag who are both 25/1 outsiders.

“Luis Figo is an incredibly high profile name and immediately becomes a contender yet while Blatter’s odds of retaining the Presidency have drifted considerably, he remains the leading candidate according to the odds,” said William Hill spokesman Joe Crilly.

Who will win the 2015 FIFA Presidential race: 1/16 Sepp Blatter; 12/1 Jerome Champagne; 16/1 Luis Figo; 25/1 Prince Ali; 25/1 Michael van Praag
