Easter Day Heads Kempton Betting

Easter Day leads the betting at 5-1 with William Hill for Saturday’s feature Grade 3 Chase at Kempton Park. The seven-year-old was running a big race at Cheltenham last month when coming down three out and bookmakers reckon he can make amends this weekend.

“Easter Day has started favourite in his last five starts and looks the likely jolly for Saturday. Around 40% of bets on the Ascot Chase were on Paul Nicholls’ favourite Ptit Zig and the trend for backing the Champion Trainer on the big Saturday races is likely to continue this weekend,” said William Hill spokesman Jon Ivan-Duke.
