Eagle Top Trimmed As Telescope Drops Out

Eagle Top Trimmed As Telescope Drops Out

William Hill have revised their prices after Telescope was ruled out of the King George VI & Queen Elizabeth Stakes. Golden Horn has shortened to 2-5 from 4-9, while Eagle Top is now 6-1 from 7-1.

Telescope was a 14-1 chance with William Hill before dropping out.

Eagle Top is the most popular horse against the favourite, but Golden Horn is a strong market leader, despite the short odds.

“Golden Horn is attracting the big-hitting punters who are keen to back arguably the best horse in training,” said William Hill spokesman Jon Ivan-Duke. “We’ve laid plenty of four-figure bets and those stakes will continue to ramp up.”

Snow Sky is the 5-2 favourite in William Hill’s ‘Without Golden Horn’ market. Prices have changed markedly following Telescope’s withdrawal.
