Don't touch lands William Hill Great St Wilfred for Fahey

Don’t Touch landed a right touch at Ripon this afternoon winning the William Hill Great St Wilfrid Handicap and is now quoted at 14-1 to follow up in the same sponsors Ayr Gold Cup in a month’s time at Ayr Racecourse.

Richard Fahey’s 4-1 favourite got his head in front just on the line on only his fourth ever start, to the delight of the Ripon crowd but left the bookmakers rueing their luck as the third winning favourite in a row for the race.

Jennie Prest, William Hill’s Racing Sponsorship Manager commented, “Don’t Touch defied the stats as a winning three-year-old today and he looks a progressive sort who could easily make a bold bid for more William Hill prize money at Ayr in September.”
