Does Jose Departure Spark Managerial Merry-Go Round? How Many More Will Go?

Five managers thus far have lost their jobs in the Premier League this season although William Hill are offering 20/1 that the merry-go-round grinds to a halt this season although it is a much shorter price – 6/5 – that another manager loses his job before the end of the season.

Should any more managers depart, it looks likely that Louis van Gaal could be next to go. He is 5/4 with William Hill to be next out with Steve McClaren 6/1 to be next out.

“We have had five managers out already and it is a long price that no more leave,” said William Hill spokesman Joe Crilly. “And the odds suggest that should another go it looks most likely to be Louis van Gaal.”

Next Premier League manager to leave: 5/4 Louis van Gaal; 6/1 Steve McClaren; 7/1 Alex Neil; 7/1 Remi Garde; 20/1 no manager; 20/1 no manager to leave; 20/1 Ronald Koeman; 25/1 Eddie Howe; 33/1 next permanent Chelsea manager; 33/1 next permanent Swansea manager; 33/1 Quique Sanchez Flores; 33/1 Sam Allardyce; 33/1 Slaven Bilic; 40/1 Alan Pardew; 40/1 Manuel Pellegrini; 40/1 Tony Pulis; 50/1 Mark Hughes; 66/1 Arsene Wenger; 66/1 Claudio Ranieri; 66/1 Jurgen Klopp; 66/1 Mauricio Pochettino; 66/1 Roberto Martinez
