Cue Card Wins William Hill King George Thriller!

Cue Card won the William Hill King George VI Chase at Kempton Park in a race for the ages, after just getting up on the line to pip Vautour.

Cue Card is now 11-2 from 10-1 for the Cheltenham Gold Cup.

“The finish to this year’s William Hill King George will go down in racing legend and Cue Card sits on top of the throne,” said William Hill spokesman Jon Ivan-Duke.

Meanwhile, Vautour is expected to drop back in trip to run in the Ryanair Chase at the Cheltenham Festival, for which he has been cut by William Hill to 6-4 from 5-2.

“Vautour has run very well but just run out of steam over three miles and perhaps a drop back in trip beckons,” said William Hill spokesman Jon Ivan-Duke.
