Could Lambourn Land A Classic?

As the busy Easter weekend kicks off, Lambourn opens its doors to the public on Good Friday and William Hill are betting on the success its trainers will have during the Flat season.

William Hill offer odds of 4/1 that a Lambourn-based trainer wins any of the five English Classics this year.

Two of the better chances for Lambourn include Fadhayyil in the 1000 Guineas for Barry Hills - she's a 16/1 chance - while Clive Cox holds lively claims with Kodi Bear at 25/1 in the 2000 Guineas.

"The Classic markets are dominated by a mix of Ballydoyle favourites, Newmarket stars and Hannon hotpots, but Lambourn have some lively contenders at longer odds who could bring one of the five prizes back to the Valley of the Racehorse."
