Corbyn's TWO Conference Speeches - First & Last?

LIKE A FOOTBALL manager coming in to a club with a great fanfare only for early results to be terrible, Jeremy Corbyn is going in to his first Labour Conference speech as Leader with criticism of his early efforts at leadership ringing around. And William Hill suspect that this could be not only his first Conference speech as leader of the Party - but also his last, and offer 5/2 about that being the case.

William Hill are already sure he is unlikely to remain leader long enough to lead the Party into the next General Election - and offer odds of 6/4 (bet £4 for profit of £6) that he will do so, while he is 1/2 (bet £2 for profit of £1) not to do so.

Hills are also betting on which year Mr Corbyn will cease to be Labour leader and make 2016 their 7/4 favourite and also offer: 4/1 2020; 9/2 2015; 11/2 2021 or later; 6/1 2017; 9/1 2018; 10/1 2019.

Corbyn is 6/1 third favourite to be the next PM with Hills, behind 13/8 favourite George Osborne and 4/1 second favourite Boris Johnson.

BOOKMAKERS William Hill are speculating on what Jeremy Corbyn may have to say during his first Labour Conference Leader's speech on Tuesday and have opened a book on whether certain topics will get a mention. Hills are offering 5/1 that he will prove he is in tune with currently popular culture by mentioning Strictly Come Dancing at some stage of his speech.....

Hills believe he is an odds-on shot at 1/6 (stake £6 for profit of £1) to say 'Poverty', and the same odds to utter 'Trident'.He is 1/5 to say 'Food banks'; 1/4 'Migrants' 1/3 'People's railway'/ 'New Party Members'. 'Diesel' is a 1/2 chance, with 'Welfare cuts' at 4/6; while 'European Union' and 'Housing crisis' are both Even money chances.

Amongst the odds against possibilities are 'Volkswagen', 'Capitalism' and 'Margaret Thatcher', all at 6/4; with 'Winter of discontent', 'Leadership challenge', 'Tax the Rich' and 'Landlords' all 2/1. 'The Guardian', 'Pig','Bank of England' and 'Scottish Referndum' are all quoted at 3/1.
