Corbyn Set To Bash Bookies

AS VOTING gets underway in the Labour leader race, bookmakers William Hill make Jeremy Corbyn hot favourite to win at odds of 2/7 (stake £7 for £2 profit) - offer him at 5/6 (stake £6 for £5 profit) to do so as a result of First Preference votes, and quote him at 10/1(stake £1 for profit of £10) to be the next Prime Minister.

However, even if he wins, Hills think he may still have work to do to remain Leader long enough to lead Labour into the next General Election and make him 5/2 to be leader when the Election takes place, 2/7 not to be.

'The leadership contest has revolved around Corbyn and he now looks the most likely winner- but the one thing he seems sure to be unable to do is unite the Party behind him' said Hill's spokesman Graham Sharpe.'A Corbyn win is definitely the worst outcome for the bookies - it will cost us a five figure sum'
