Champions League Specials… Barca Treble… Bale Out!

The English sides are up against it in the Champions League with William Hill offering just 1/5 that both Manchester City and Arsenal exit the competition this week. It is a whopping 40/1 that both sides qualify. Instead it looks more likely that it will be one of three sides who wins the competition. Bayern Munich are the 5/2 favourites to win the competition with both Barcelona and Real Madrid 3/1.

In Spain, it has been a season of two halves for both Real and Barcelona. Real started the season in fine form but have slipped in recent weeks, so much so, that record signing and chief scapegoat, Gareth Bale, is just 6/5 to leave the club in the summer. In Catalunya, Barcelona are just 5/1 to win the treble of La Liga, Copa del Rey and the Champions League.

Manuel Pellegrini’s job at Manchester City is under severe threat following defeat to Burnley and an exit from the Champions League, which is offered at just 1/16, could spell the end for the manager who is just 1/5 to no longer be in charge at the Etihad come the first day of next season.
