Champions League Latest: Bayern Favourites. Ancelotti And Simeone To Have Touchline Dust Up?

According to the odds it looks as though the semi finals of the Champions League will be contested by Barcelona, Real Madrid, Bayern Munich and Juventus, with William Hill making the four sides favourites to advance from their respective quarter finals. Barca are 1/4 to oust PSG from the competition while Real Madrid are 1/3 to defeat their city rivals in the tie of the round. Bayern Munich would appear to have the easiest passage to the semis at 1/8 while Juve are 1/5 to qualify at the expense of Monaco.

With a repeat of last year’s tempestuous final, William Hill think tensions could run high between the two Madrid sides and it is 2/1 that Simeone and Ancelotti fail to shake hands after either match.

Bayern Munich have perhaps the easiest passage into the semi-finals and given that they have scored 70 goals in 25 Bundesliga matches and won their last six games to an aggregate score of 26-2, they are 8/11 to score six or more over the two matches against Porto.

Bayern are 7/4 to win the Champions League with Barcelona 5/2 and Real 7/2.

After all English sides were dumped out of the Champions League, William Hill are offering 12/1 that none of the English sides reach the quarter finals of the competition next season.
