Can Simonsig Give Henderson A Tingle?

Simonsig is the latest horse to be backed in the Tingle Creek Chase with William Hill. After each-way support for the like of Special Tiara and Sire De Grugy earlier in the week (prior to the defection of Un De Sceaux), punters are now coming for Simonsig and he has been cut to 3-1 from 7-2.

“There’s been a good spread of money across the Tingle Creek, but the momentum has definitely shifted towards Simonsig. At this rate he could challenge Vibrato Valtat for favouritism,” said William Hill spokesman Jon Ivan-Duke.

“Nicky Henderson has already had a few sparklers this season and he might get a Tingle at the weekend.”

Meanwhile, in the John Durkan Memorial Punchestown Chase, Gilgamboa has been supported in the past few hours from 5-1 to 9-2 and was then cut again in to 4-1.

In the Becher Chase, Goonyella is currently the worst result with William Hill and is one of four horses at the top of the market at 7-1.
