Can Burnham Hold Off Corby Charge?

ANDY BURNHAM is narrowly favourite to win the Labour leadership race with bookmakers William Hill making him an 11/8 (stake £8 for profit of £11) chance to emerge as the next leader -  but Hills believe Jeremy Corbyn is more likely to make the early running in the contest by receiving the most First Preference votes when the process begins, and make him 1/5 favourite to do so.

'Jeremy Corbyn is continuing to make life difficult for the two who were expected to fight out this race - Mr Burnham and Ms Cooper' said Hill's spokesman Graham Sharpe.'And there are plenty who believe he will belie his opening 200/1 odds and become leader.'
