By George - Boris Ambitions Under Threat?

AFTER HIS appearance at PMQs standing in for David Cameron, bookmakers William Hill have cut their odds for George Osborne to become next Tory leader and also to be the next Prime Minister.

'Mr Osborne is second favourite (down to 9/2 from 6/1)  to be the next Tory Leader and also to be the next PM (5/1 from 7/1) for the first time' said Hill's spokesman Graham Sharpe. 'He has now moved ahead of Theresa May in the Tory pecking order for the first time according to the betting and must represent a huge threat to Boris Johnson's long-term leadership ambitions.'
