Buratino Blasts Rivals at Woodcote

Buratino smashed his rivals at Epsom to win the Woodcote Stakes, with racing fans now salivating at the prospect of Royal Ascot’s big two-year old races.

The victor is now 10/1 (first show) for the Coventry Stakes with William Hill, but the firm are not quoting King Of Rooks for the race. The latter beat Buratino so convincingly at Sandown last month, but the target for Richard Hannon’s horse looks like it will be the Norfolk Stakes.

“Buratino looked mighty at Epsom and it would be no surprise to see him line up at shorter odds at Royal Ascot,” said William Hill spokesman Jon Ivan-Duke.

Coventry Stakes: 9-4 Round Two, 9-2 Finnegan, 7-1 Log Out Island, 8-1 War Department, 10-1 Buratino, 12-1 Eltezam, 14-1 Air Force Blue, (Each Way 1/5 Odds Places 1,2,3)
