Boris Favourite To Take Over As Cameron Hints At Departure

DAVID CAMERON'S broad hint that he won't seek a third term of office (albeit a second one is hardly a certainty!) has seen the runners and riders come under orders for the succession stakes and the early front-runner is Boris Johnson, 9/4 favourite with William Hill, who make Theresa May 9/2 second favourite with George Osborne 10/1 third favourite.

'One bold client staked £200,000 on David Cameron becoming Tory leader when the job last became available, so there will be no shortage of speculative money about to try to predict his successor' said Hill's spokesman Graham Sharpe.
