Bookies Sweating As Punters Pile On 100f

Britain’s biggest bookie William Hill have slashed the price of temperatures hitting 100f this year from 9/2 to 4/1 as punters come piling in.


Meanwhile William Hill are now just 3/1 that there is a hosepipe ban enforced by Thames Water at any point in 2015.

“Early indications are that a temperature of 100f could cost the industry a monster six figure sum,” said William Hill spokesman Rupert Adams. “The countryside is already looking parched and this heatwave could result in a Hosepipe ban.”
