Bookies Offer Biggest Ever Odds On White Christmas In London

With Christmas Day just a couple of days away, William Hill make it 18/1 that London sees snow on the big day – officially the biggest price EVER and you are more likely to be sweating than building a snowman on the big day.

On Monday, however, Glasgow’s odds tumbled in to 7/4 from 5/1 under the weight of a targeted gamble on that city specifically.

“We have NEVER offered 18/1 for snow on Christmas Day in any city, let alone London but we are so confident that we will not see a single snowflake in the capital that we are happy to do so this year,” said William Hill spokesman Joe Crilly. “With regards to Glasgow, however, we are very nervous as it could still result in a sizeable payout should we see a White Christmas.”

If we are to have anything but a Christmassy day outside, inside, the odds suggest that on the day, we will all be settling down to watch Mrs. Brown’s Boys, which is the odds on favourite to be the most viewed show on Christmas Day.

Snow on Christmas Day: 7/4 Glasgow; 5/2 Aberdeen; 10/3 Belfast; 7/2 Edinburgh; 4/1 Manchester; 5/1 Leeds; 5/1 Liverpool; 5/1 Newcastle; 10/1 Birmingham; 10/1 Bristol; 10/1 Cardiff; 10/1 Dublin; 10/1 Norwich; 16/1 Penzance; 18/1 London

Top TV show on Christmas Day: 4/6 Mrs Brown’s Boys; 4/1 Downton Abbey; 9/2 EastEnders; 10/1 Strictly; 14/1 Call The Midwife; 14/1 The Queen’s Speech (BBC only); 25/1 BAR
