Bookies love Toujours L’Amour

Toujours L’Amour won the Lingfield Oaks Trial and did the bookies a favour on a competitive day of racing. Wedding Vow was a well-supported 8/11 favourite but could only finish third. The only antepost betting change was on Bellajeu who ran a good race in second and has halved in price for the Investec Oaks from 50/1 to 25/1 with William Hill.

“It was a good result for the bookmakers but the trial has hardly shaken the Oaks betting,” said William Hill spokesman Jon Ivan-Duke.
