Bookies Braced For Six Figure Corbyn Payout

JEREMY CORBYN will win the Labour leadership contest by securing sufficient First Preference Votes, say bookmakers William Hll - who are quoting him at odds of 8/11 (stake £11 for a profit of £8) to do so.

Corbyn, originally priced at 200/1, is now 3/10 (stake £10 for profit of £3) favourite to become next Labour leader, with his rivals well behind him in the betting - Andy Burnham is 10/3 second favourite, with Yvette Cooper at 8/1, and Liz Kendall 100/1.

The new Leader is scheduled to be announced on September 12, 2015 - but Hills have cut their odds for that not to be the case from an original quote of 8/1 down to 9/2. It is 1/8 that the identity of the new Leader WILL become known on the scheduled date.

'We're resigned to paying out a six figure sum to canny political punters who have backed Jeremy Corbyn down from 200/1 to red hot 3/10 favourite' said Hill's spokesman Graham Sharpe.
