Bookies Braced For Biggest Betting Match In History

Britain’s biggest bookmaker William Hill believe that the match between England and Australia on Saturday night will be the biggest betting game in the history of Rugby with an astonishing £10million plus expected to be wagered on the outcome of the match.

The early money has been for Australia as punters take the 5/4 odds but the Patriotic punt is expected to come in on Saturday, with England currently 4/5.

“All the signs are excellentand we fully expect England vs Australia to be the biggest betting match in our history,” said William Hill spokesman Rupert Adams. “Jonny Wilkinson’s drop kick was the most expensive moment in Rugby betting history but Owen Farrell could consign that to history and it is fair to say that the bookies are sweating on the outcome.”
