Bookied Rank Golden Horn Highly

After the news that Golden Horn has secured a rating of 130 following his victory in the Eclipse, Golden Horn is 5/4 with William Hill to get a rating of 133 or higher at the end of the year.

Hills will settle the market based on the LONGINES World’s Best Racehorse Rankings, with the latest edition published on Thursday 9th July, which is likely to show Golden Horn’s best rating as 2lbs better than American Pharoah.

It is 4/7 that Golden Horn receives an international rating of 132 or lower at the end of the year.

“The exciting thing is that Golden Horn is likely to improve, but the big question is by how much,” said William Hill spokesman Jon Ivan-Duke.

Golden Horn’s next race could be in the King George VI & Queen Elizabeth Stakes for which he is an odds-on 4-5 chance with William Hill.
