Blatter Set To Splatter Prince Ali In FIFA Race
With Luis Figo and Michael van Praag both having withdrawn from the FIFA Presidency race, there remain just two candidates yet the competition is anything but a standard ‘two horse race’. Sepp Blatter is 1/20 with William Hill to win and retain his seat at the head of World Football’s top table while his only competitor, Prince Ali Bin Al-Hussein, is 8/1.
“The Blatternaut has already steam rolled two of his rivals before the vote has even taken place and we fully expect him to see off Prince Ali next Friday,” said William Hill spokesman Joe Crilly. “Not even royalty can knock Blatter off his perch.”
William Hill think it is so likely Blatter will win that they are offering just 4/1 that he wins both this election and a second term.
