Betting on the Budget

William Hill offer odds of 4/7 that the Chancellor will take longer than 55 minutes to present the Budget on Wednesday, make him odds-on to be wearing a Blue tie (8/15) while he does so, 5/1 to mention 'TV Debates'  8/1 to mention Jeremy Clarkson, and a 7/4 chance still to be Chancellor when the NEXT Budget takes place.

Hills are also offering odds about phrases  and/or names which may be mentioned by George Osborne - and the best backed option is for him to say 'Hard working families'- an Even money shot.

Amongst the other odds for phrases Mr Osborne may include in his speech are: 11/8 'Tough decision'; 3/1 'HS2' ;4/1 'Two Kitchens'; 5/1 'TV Debates'; 5/1 'Labour's economic mess'; 8/1 'Jeremy Clarkson'; 12/1 'Alex Salmond'; 12/1'Kitchen Tax'; 12/1'Nigel Farage'.
