Benitez Cut To Take Over At Anfield

Brendan Rodgers is 2/5 to still be in charge of Liverpool come the start of next season, according to William Hill although should he leave, Rafa Benitez could be in line for a shock move back to Anfield. The Spaniard has been backed in to 8/1 (from 20/1) second favourite to be the Reds boss on the opening day of the season. Jurgen Klopp is 10/1 with Ronald Koeman 14/1.

“If one thing was guaranteed under Benitez at Liverpool, it was Champions League football and while he never won the league, he lead them into Europe’s Premier competition every season that he was there except for his final one,” said William Hill spokesman Joe Crilly.

One manager who will certainly be in charge of his side at the start of next season, is Eddie Howe. The talented young manager is 25/1 to be named as the next permanent England manager, while he is 8/1 to be England manager before the end of 2030.
