BBC Breakfast Presenter: Which News Presenter Will Fit The Bill?

With long-time presenter and housewives' favourite Bill Turnbull stepping down from BBC Breakfast in 2016, William Hill are offering odds on who will replace him, making current end-of-the-week presenter, Charlie Stayt the 4/1 favourite to take over Bill’s Monday to Wednesday shift. Channel 4 News legend, Krishnan Guru-Murthy is 8/1 second favourite with former BBC bod, Adrian Chiles the 9/1 third favourite.

"Bill has a legion of fans and will be a tough act to follow but in Charlie there is obviously a ready-made replacement," said William Hill spokesman Joe Crilly. “But despite the early hours, there will be countless covetous glances being cast at the soon-to-be vacant slot on the red sofa.”

To replace Bill Turnbull as co-host of BBC Breakfast: 4/1 Charlie Stayt; 8/1 Krishnan Guru-Murthy; 9/1 Adrian Chiles; 10/1 Rachel Burden; 10/1 Naga Munchetty; 10/1 Jon Kay; 10/1 Jeremy Vine; 11/1 Simon McCoy; 12/1 Sophie Raworth; 12/1 Sian Lloyd; 14/1 Roger Johnson; 14/1 Christian Fraser; 14/1 Ben Shepherd; 16/1 Stephanie McGovern; 16/1 Huw Edwards; 20/1 Dan Snow; 20/1 Dominic Laurie; 25/1 Eamonn Holmes; 25/1 Dermot Murnaghan; 33/1 Mike Bushell; 33/1 Kay Burley
