Barca Favourites For Champions League After Group Stage Draw

Reigning Champions Barcelona are the favourites for the UEFA Champions League after the draw, with bookmakers William Hill pricing them at 11-4 to retain their title.

“Barcelona are the bookmakers’ favourites and are on course to defend their title,” said William Hill spokesman Jon Ivan-Duke.

The shortest priced English side is Chelsea at 8-1, with Manchester City at 12-1, Manchester United at 14-1 and Arsenal at 20-1 with William Hill.

“Real Madrid and Bayern Munich both look to have tougher draws than Barcelona and the reigning Champions should make it through the Group Stages with something to spare,” said William Hill spokesman Jon Ivan-Duke. “Chelsea and Manchester United have potentially easier groups than Manchester City and Arsenal, who have some tough games ahead.”
