Banker Bets For Grexit And Barclays

BOOKMAKERS William Hill have slashed their odds that Greece will remain in the Eurozone to its shortest odds yet, from 1/5 (stake £5 to make £1 profit) of 1/9 (stake £9 to win £1), and lengthed the odds of a Grexit during 2015 from 7/2 to 5/1 (stake £1 to win £5). 'As far as our customers are concerned a Grexit during 2015 is now effectively a non-runner' said Hill's spokesman Graham Sharpe.

Grexit 2015? - Yes- 5/1......No- 1/9

TUSHAR Morzaria has emerged as the bookies' favourite to become the next permanent CEO at Barclays, with William Hill quoting him at odds of Even money (stake £1 to make profit of £1), with A H Osorio their 4/1 second favourite, ahead of joint third favourites, Thomas King and .Jonathan Moulds.

'It is very rare for punters to be able to bet on a market in which every runner appears to be a banker bet' said Hill's spokesman Graham Sharpe.
