Balder Bound For Cheltenham

Balder Succes is 7-1 from 12-1 with William Hill for the Ryanair Chase after the Alan King-trained gelding produced a superb round of jumping to win the Ascot Chase.

“We were offering the biggest price in the Ryanair market before the race, but we certainly don’t want to be out on our own after that performance,” said William Hill spokesman Jon Ivan-Duke. “There may well be some strong support for him after that win.”

Meanwhile, Balder Succes has also been trimmed for the Queen Mother to 12-1 from 25-1, while Ballycasey has been pushed out to 16-1 from 12-1 for the Ryanair Chase.
