American Pharoah Ready To Rule In William Hill Haskell Invitational

The $1.75million William Hill Haskell Invitational features this year’s US Triple Crown winner American Pharoah, as the phenomenal horse looks to add the richest race outside the Breeders’ Cup meeting, to his already golden race record.

American Pharoah is the first horse in 37 years to win the Kentucky Derby, Belmont Stakes and Preakness Stakes and William Hill offer odds of just 1-6 that the Bob Baffert-trained superstar adds Monmouth Park’s jewel to his crown.

William Hill are also offering odds on how far American Pharoah wins the race, with odds of Even-Money for him to win by 5 lengths or more and 2-1 that he wins by 8 lengths or more.

“Most racing fans think American Pharoah won’t be beaten and the question is by how far will he win the race,” said William Hill spokesman Jon Ivan-Duke. “He is one of the greatest horses to grace the track and the eyes of the world are on Monmouth Park to watch this equine superstar.”

Despite the very short odds, 72% of all the bets placed with William Hill’s UK business are on American Pharoah.
