American Pharoah Accounts For 50% Of Classic Turnover

American Pharoah accounts for 23% of the bets taken on the Breeders’ Cup Classic with William Hill’s US Sportsbook, based in Las Vegas, but half of the money staked.

“Fifty percent of the money staked by US punters in the Breeders’ Cup Classic is on American Pharoah,” said William Hill spokesman Jon Ivan-Duke. “And the momentum could really build around a horse who captures the hearts and minds of America.”
