Altior Shortens For Supreme

Altior is 16-1 from 20-1 with William Hill to win the Supreme Novices’ Hurdle after landing the trial at Cheltenham.

Altior got the better of Maputo up the run in, despite being hampered by a loose horse.

“Altior has set a marker and he looks like he could keep progressing in the novice hurdle division,” said William Hill spokesman Jon Ivan-Duke.
