Advocaat 7/2 To Leave Before The End Of The Season

After a humiliating defeat at home to Norwich, the odds of Dick Advocaat being the first manager to leave his job have tumbled. He was 8/1 before the start of the season, yet is now just 13/8 to be the first manager out of the door. His odds have tumbled so far that he is just 7/2 to have left the club before the end of the month.

His Sunderland side are odds on for the drop after just two games. They are the 8/13 favourites to go down with Watford Evens to go down and Norwich 11/10.

“Sunderland fans will be calling Mrs Advocaat to ask for their flowers back as their team look as though they are already in for a long, hard season under her husband if he even lasts the duration,” said William Hill spokesman Joe Crilly.
