4/1 Mansion Tax To Be Implemented

Bookmakers William Hill are offering odds of 4/1 that Labour's controversial Mansion Tax proposal will be implemented by the end of 2015.

'We'll pay out if an additional UK-wide tax on private properties worth £2m or more is implemented before the end of 2015' said Hill's spokesman Graham Sharpe.

**Any change to the existing property-based Council Tax does not count for the purposes of this wager. If an announcement is made before the end of the year, but not implemented until 2016 or later, bets will be deemed losers.
