33% Say Murray Will Win - Rain Free Wimbledon?

Andy Murray has never been so popular ahead of Wimbledon, with a third of all bets placed at William Hill being for the super Scot. The odds disagree with the official seeding as Murray is the 5/2 second favourite with Djokovic 5/4 and Roger Federer a 6/1 shot. Despite being 10th seed Rafa Nadal starts at 12/1 with French Open champion Stan Wawrinka offered at 14/1.

The latest weather forecast is looking good and William Hill offer 10/1 that there are no rain delays throughout the Wimbledon fortnight.

“Murray is very much the punters’ choice this year and the industry is already facing a million pound payout should he lift the trophy,” said William Hill spokesman Rupert Adams.
