William Hill Sponsor Towcester's First Sky Night

William Hill are sponsoring the whole card of the first night of Sky Sports action at Towcester, the newest greyhound track in the world, on Saturday 13th December.

Greyhound racing’s biggest supporter is once again leading the industry with over £30,000 of prize money up for grabs across twelve races at the Towcester Racecourse Greyhound Grand Opening.

The feature race is the £5000 William Hill Towcester Vs Ireland 480m Open, while there is a 655m final and 480m final worth £2500 each, plus eight £1000 Opens. There will also be a graded £1000 invitational race with EIGHT DOGS!

“As greyhound racing’s biggest sponsor we welcome a new, exciting era for the sport at Towcester. This is a real boost for the industry and we’re delighted to be a part of it,” said William Hill Racing Sponsorship Manager Jennie Prest.

Chris Page, Towcester Racing Manager: “There’s a high quality line-up to look forward to, including a crack Irish team. The card has something for everyone and we’re all eagerly anticipating a top class race meeting.”

The first race of the night is at 7.34pm, with gates opening at 5.30pm.

As for Towcester Racecourse’s horseracing meetings, all greyhound meetings at the venue are free entry for race goers. There will be commemorative race cards available on Saturday evening to celebrate the Grand Opening.

Those who aren’t lucky enough to make it to the track on the night can join the world-class broadcasting line-up on Sky Sports 3 for live, thrilling action from the Towcester Racecourse Greyhound Grand Opening, sponsored by William Hill.
