Video Nasty: Pearson Is New Favourite For Prem Axe!

Nigel Pearson’s odds have been cut from 11/4 to 7/4 to be the next Premier League manager to leave his job after a particularly damning video of him swearing at a Leicester fan emerged online. The move has seen him jump to the front of the queue, leapfrogging Alan Irvine who is 9/4 second favourite.

Harry Redknapp and Steve Bruce are both 8/1 joint third favourites.

“Pearson is a man famed for taking no prisoners and the fan that insulted him did not escape lightly,” said William Hill spokesman Joe Crilly. “However Leicester are currently rock bottom of the Premier League and Even money to be relegated and the pressure is clearly growing on him.”

Next Premier League manager to leave: 7/4 Nigel Pearson; 9/4 Alan Irvine; 8/1 Harry Redknapp; 8/1 Steve Bruce; 10/1 Neil Warnock; 11/1 Paul Lambert; 16/1 Brendan Rodgers; 20/1 BAR

Premier League relegation: 4/9 Burnley; 1/1 Leicester; 11/10 QPR; 17/10 Crystal Palace; 2/1 Hull; 9/4 West Brom; 7/2 Sunderland; 4/1 Aston Villa; 9/1 BAR
