Scot Referendum - 'No' Odds Shortest Yet

William Hill have cut their odds for a ‘No’ vote in the Scottish Referendum to the shortest price yet as pollsters and punters both support that outcome.
Hills now offer 1/7 ‘No’ and 4/1 ‘Yes’.
‘We shortened the odds from 1/6 after another sequence of bets for No, the largest of which was for 12,000 euros, staked online by an Irish client’ said Hill’s spokesman Graham Sharpe. ‘We had been expecting the gap in odds between the No and Yes options to narrow as we drew nearer to the big day, but the opposite has happened since we took the biggest ever political bet of £400,000 for ‘No’ at odds of 1/ 4 three weeks ago.’
