Rodgers Axe Odds Slashed After Basel Stalemate!

William Hill have halved the price of Brendan Rodgers being the next Premier League manager to leave his job after Liverpool failed to make it through to the knockout stages of the Champions League. Rodgers was 16/1 but he is now 8/1 while he is 6/4 to have left the club by the final day of this season.

“Liverpool appear to have taken more than a couple of steps backwards from last season and Rodgers has to take some of the blame for that,” said William Hill spokesman Joe Crilly.

Liverpool now have to settle for the Europa League and they are 10/1 to win it and they are 20/1 to face Everton in the competition.

Arsenal are 25/1 to win the Champions League after they finished second in their group.
