Publishing Of Garcia Report Sees Blatter’s Presidency Odds Slip

Fifa execs have finally agreed to publish the Garcia report, the findings of which will be “legally appropriate” and only released after Fifa’s current investigations finish.

With plenty of time for them to kick their heels, it is 3/1 that Sepp Blatter leaves the organisation before the end of next year (from an original 7/1) and 7/4 that he is gone by the time the 2018 World Cup kicks off.

“Blatter has managed to cling on to power for so long, however, the full findings of this report could see a Blatter departure sooner rather than later,” said William Hill spokesman Joe Crilly.

Will Sepp Blatter be Fifa President on 1st January 2016: 2/9 yes; 3/1 no

Will Sepp Blatter still be Fifa President when the 2018 World Cup kicks off: 2/5 yes; 7/4 no
