Pearson Cut For Leicester Axe

Nigel Pearson’s odds of being the next Premier League manager to lose his job took another tumble after defeat to Aston Villa. 7/4 at the start of the weekend with William Hill, he is now 6/5 with Alan Irvine the 4/1 second favourite.


“Pearson was on thin ice already but his position is becoming more perilous with every defeat,” said William Hill spokesman Joe Crilly.
